like in terms of how characters are like. oriented towards narrative in black sails (which is, of course. the whole fucking point of it all.) vane is such an interesting agent. mr. this gigantic symbolically loaded albatross means dinner. mr. put prosperity in my hand give it to me in this room. mr. i don't hide behind anything. this is a guy who solely experiences narrative exclusively for the material and he is literally the only character who does so. like come the fuck on
